What will we collect?

To create an account on Gauputra, you are required to provide us with basic information as part of our Customer identification process and you agree to our User Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy, which governs how we treat your information. We will ask your for certain personal and financial information like your name, address, date of birth, PAN no., bank statements, pay slips, etc. We will also collect credit related information that is collected from other sources like the credit bureau. In addition, we will also collect your social data (from facebook and linkedin) as well as information from your mobile phone (call logs, sms logs, contact details etc.). Apart from this we might collect information from you electronically - like the pages viewed, how you navigate through the website and interact with webpages, etc. We will also collect the following types of banking information from you – credit/debit card details such as the first six or the last four digits of your card number, wallet information (if you have a wallet with us), card details for quick purchase where you have selected the preference of letting us store information. However for the avoidance of doubt we would like to clarify that we do not store or process information necessary to make online payments such as all the digits of a credit card number/bank account number, CVV numbers, one time PIN numbers and similar payment authentication information. However, do note that such information may be collected, stored and used by the payment gateway service provider you choose to complete your transaction with. All such information will be subject to and processed in accordance with the payment gateway service provider’s terms and conditions

Gauputra App and website is intended for users ages 18 and older only. Accordingly, we will not knowingly collect or use any personal information from individuals that we know to be under the age of 18. In addition, we will delete any information in our database that we know originates from an individual under the age of 18.

WHAT DO WE DO WITH THE INFORMATION COLLECTED?

We will use this information to establish identity and assess applications, design our products, manage our relationship with you, offer our products and services, manage our risks including the risk of fraud, get in touch with you, improve our business for us and our customer, comply with country laws and inform you about other products or services we think you might find of some use. Gauputra needs this minimal information to operate and provide various services. Gauputra App uses and discloses your personal information only as follows: -to fulfill your requests for products and services offered and subscribed and accepted by you -to deliver to you any administrative notices, alerts, advice and communications relevant to your use of the Service -share your information with their group companies and other third parties so far as required for joint marketing purposes and / or to similar services to provide you with various value added services -for market research, project planning, troubleshooting problems, detecting and protecting against error, fraud or other criminal activity; -to third- party contractors that provide services to Revfin and are bound by these same privacy restrictions. We may also collect and use this information in other ways permitted by law.

If we use any third parties for any of these transactions we will also make sure that confidentiality is maintained. Gauputra endeavours to safeguard and ensure the security of the information provided by you. Gauputra uses EV SSL based encryption, for the transmission of the information, which is currently the permitted level of encryption in India. When the information provided by you is not transmitted through this encryption, your system (if configured accordingly) will display an appropriate message ensuring the best level of secrecy for information.
